Renew Adelaide’s Port Adelaide project will benefit from more than $120,000 in additional funds after receiving renewed funding support from Renewal SA.
Additional funding for the Port Adelaide Project will see Renew Adelaide undertake further property activations in the area and provide additional support for its existing projects.
Renew Adelaide CEO, Tim Boundy, says the recent success of Renew projects such as Low and Slow has highlighted Port Adelaide’s presence as a must visit destination for history, art and food”.
“Over the past three years Renew Adelaide has delivered twenty-eight projects in Port Adelaide, activating previously untenanted buildings and adding to the unique retail and food mix in the precinct”.
“Today’s funding announcement will enable us to support local property owners and establish even more new business in such a special part of Adelaide.
“There is a tremendous amount of activity currently underway in Port Adelaide and Renew Adelaide is pleased to support creative enterprises to be part of the action”.
“We are buoyed by the recent success of our Port Adelaide projects such as Folklore Café and Low and Slow which are bringing new economic activity to the area”.
$123,500 has been delivered to Renew Adelaide by Renewal SA to support its strategy for activating underutilised property with a focus on creative and cultural initiatives that build a unique identity for Port Adelaide.
