Adelaide’s creative and entrepreneurial community has been driving the energetic change of our city. They’re the ones that have been generating ideas, refining them and then taking them that one step further to make our city a more exciting place to be. By their very nature they’re ambitious and get things done, but their individuality and agility also make them small and hard to define individually or collectively. It’s this element that has meant that they often don’t get the credit that they deserve, or that many contributions that are made don’t get noticed due to their individual size, despite the collective sum of their parts.
By giving the opportunity for lots of different people to contribute to the city we create a more interesting, diverse and resilient place.
Where these efforts can be supported is through our established business community. To see a city where established players understand the needs of emerging ones, and have a tailored offering that supports them.
Renew Adelaide launched our first program dedicated to this journey, a network of 16 businesses that want to be involved in supporting the new wave of great ideas. ‘Team Up’ allows our projects to access services that they wouldn’t otherwise know they needed; sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.
