The Jewel of Rundle!

38 Gawler Place,

The Edments Building is steeped in history. Its name comes from the Edments Jewellers whom at one time occupied the whole building. The building itself was erected in 1926-27 and is a wonderful example of architecture from that period.

These days, the building contains a whole host of different tenants from Software development companies such as Thirty4, to architectural firms like Silver Thomas Hanley. However, nothing personifies the legacy of the building like Gustafson Custom Horns, a renowned craftsman who works with a variety of wind instruments and has worked with both Adelaide and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s!

We are encouraging big and bold ideas and would love to hear all your great concepts. The space/s would be ideal as an office or studio or in keeping with its history, a master craftsperson would also be welcomed. With varied retail and food and beverage operating on the ground floor, and a massive amount of foot traffic coming through Rundle Mall and the soon to be upgraded Gawler Place, you’ll be right in the heart of it all!
