2044

Transform was an experimental art project and retail shop that looks just like any normal post-modern lounge room, but all the items in the room, eg. furniture, art and homewares were for sale. Conceived by artist, Matea Gluscevic and furniture designer, Richard Le Messurier, Transform had a special focus on up-cycled materials and the ‘room’ constantly evolving with new work and exhibitions.

Today you can find Matea and Richard in their new retail concept store – Phase Space – as part of Format at 80 Hindley St. Do pop by next time you’re in the West End and say hi!

Transform was part of Renew Adelaide’s activation of Topham Mall, in partnership with the Adelaide City Council in June 2015 including the filling of 5 vacant shops, a public art installation and addition of new way-finding signs and designs to the mall.
